The uBiome Clinical Outcomes in Microbiome Innovation Challenge’s (“The Challenge” or “Challenge”) goal is to connect physicians, medical students, medical researchers and other healthcare professionals to facilitate scholarship, mentorship, collaboration and advance the science of the microbiome as it relates to clinical outcomes.
In order for you to create an account on The Challenge, you are required to enter your name, email address and whether you are a clinician. If you register for an account in response to an invitation from an existing The Challenge user, then The Challenge will automatically "connect" you with that user.
When we refer to "Information You Provide to The Challenge" we mean any of the following:

In order for us to improve your user experience and understand what features of The Challenge are most useful to our members, The Challenge also collects information regarding how you use the website. This includes when and how often you log in to the site, which links you click and how often, what information you look at on The Challenge and other usage metrics. We keep this information private and only disclose it to The Challenge employees, contractors and affiliates who have a need to know the information in order to improve your experience on The Challenge and provide you with information and features that are useful to you.

The Challenge offers other websites the ability to embed The Challenge "buttons" such as "Share on The Challenge", "Like on The Challenge", etc. When you use these buttons you understand that you are submitting information to The Challenge just as if you were submitting it directly on our website.

We reserve the right to change the terms of this Agreement and will provide you advance notice if the terms change, by sending you an email to your email address as registered in your account profile, and by notifying you with a popup message the next time you log in. You agree that you use the The Challenge website voluntarily and that your use of the The Challenge website is entirely at your own risk. You understand that there is always a risk that your personal information could be obtained illegally by "hackers" or other third parties, and you agree that The Challenge, its officers, employees, shareholders, contractors and affiliates shall not be liable in any way for any damages, direct or indirect, that you incur as a result. Where local law does not allow such limitation of liability our liability shall be limited to the lowest amount allowed by local law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Challenge, its officers, employees, shareholders, contractors and affiliates from any action arising from your use of the The Challenge website.
